It's time, Dept. readers, to take a Long Winter's Nap and spend that Quality Time with family and loved ones dear. I plan to rest, recharge, and make a Real Effort to think about What's Really Important.

Dearest Dept. Readers--Thank you all for your kind wishes. We are slothing around here at the Dept. most shockingly. Most days, I am in jammies/fleece until noon, at least. My new slippers are getting a workout.
And, I brought zero schoolwork home with me. Sweet liberation.
